As the sun sets on our final day of camp, our hearts are full from a summer we’ll never forget. From laughter-filled days to unforgettable memories. We’ve formed friendships that will last a long time. It’s hard to say goodbye. We are all looking forward to our Closing Ceremony tonight.

I can’t believe that the summer is almost over. It was amazing and we are all looking forward to spend this last Shabbat together.

The chanichim have been learning about how Am Yisrael has show an incredible ruach and Hineni spirit over the last year and a half.

Today is Yom Hitnadvut. Eidah Gimmel learned all about the volunteers who stood up and helped Israeli farmers rebuild their farms and represented Hineni! In honor of the farmers, the chanichim had a challenge all about cooking with vegetables, fruit and spices.

Today is Yom Chaklaut. The chanichim of Eidah Daled learned about the organization Regrow Israel and all they are doing to help farmers in Israel. They honored the farmers with a farm-to-table food challenge.

Today id Yom Teuza. Eidah Aleph learned about the Alpinist Unit in Tzahal who serve in extremely cold temperatures on and around the Hermon. The chanichim made snow shelters out of marshmallows, navigated through snowy terrain as a unit and retrieved secret important items from icy conditions.

It was so nice to see everyone at camp for Visiting Day—the beautiful weather made it even more enjoyable. Families had a great time joining in on activities like melrchet yad, nagarut, and the always-exciting zipline. It was especially meaningful to see campers writing letters and packing boots for soldier. The day was full of fun and connection.

We had a wonderful week. It  started with Tisha B’Av and went right into Gibbushon. There were a few trips and last night Eidot Bet through Machal joined thousands of people at the Ishay Ribo concert. It was Amazing!

We are all looking forward to Shabbat.

Throughout the month ,the chanichim are learning about the support for the homefront in Israel.

Today is Yom Netina! Our Israeli farmers have answered the call of Hineni, and shown a Ruach from within. They continue to plant and work the land, knowing that in the future, they will reap their harvest. Kaytana experienced the peula – Farming Friends, and made planters that honored our Israeli farmers.
