Today was the Moshava 5K and 10K! Machane was desked out in blue and white balloons with decorative lions standing guard.

Today is Gibbushon! Each eidah received a team name connected to Moshevet Amikam. They battled it out throughout the day with sports competitions and more to see who will win Gibbushon! Stay tuned to see who wins.

Today Eidah bet learned the inspiring story behind Elite Chocolate, from the family’s aliyah and perseverance in building a successful company to it’s merger with Strauss, another company founded on similar zionist values. In a true Amikam moment, they also learned how Elite recently released a special edition chocolate bar benefiting the Irgun Nechei Tzahal, supporting wounded  wounded soldiers. They then visited our chocolate factory, made chocolate slime, and, of course, enjoyed some delicious chocolate treats!

Today was Yom Sha’agat Ha’ari. Eidah Daled learned about the lion which is a Jewish and national symbol and how it applies to Moshevet Amikam. They then built their own themed lions, that will decorate the route of the Moshava Marathon this coming Sunday.

What an amazing week it’s been.  The chanichim have been enjoying so many peulot at camp. Mini Mosh was here. Eidot Gimmel and Daled went ono their Shmutzes and Eidah hey went on aa trip out of camp.

Today is Yom Bitachon. Eidah Gimmel learned about the incredible partnership between Israel and America, and how this was seen this past April when Israel helped America in their rescue of their American pilot from Iranian soil. Eidah Gimmel chanichim participated in an Escape Box challenge to help get aid to the pilot.
