Today, on Shiva Assar B’Tammuz, the chanichim of machane learned about the different events that happened over time on this day. Each eidah had different peulot commemorating the day. Eidah Hey had a photo scavenger hunt, with each photo relating back to an event that happened on this day. Eidah Aleph learned about the importance of communication and being the light amongst one another, and made lights for their bunk. Eidah Bet delved into social dilemmas and how they would deal with specific social situations. They then made keychains for one another representing ahavat chinam. Eidah Gimmel learned about the reality of the churban, and how it wasn’t just about losing the Beit Hamikdash, but about how their whole reality changed. Lastly, Eidah Daled had a peulah called “Stand Up”, where they spoke about standing up for the causes that they believe in.
Moshava will be continuing its very successful Kaytana program which will NOW BE A FULL 2 WEEKS and is for campers who will be completing Grades 3 or 4. Our Kaytana program is specially designed as an introductory overnight camp program for children of these ages. Children will become comfortable in the camp environment while learning to deal with the separation issues and the issues of living in a group situation. They will, therefore, be more prepared for the full Moshava experience in the future.
The main camp consists of five Eidot (divisions). 
Our Mini-Mosh program is specially designed as an introductory 4 day, 3-night program for campers who will be completing 2nd or 3rd grades in June 2024. Children will become comfortable in the camp environment while learning to deal with the separation issues and the issues of living in a group situation. They will then be more prepared for the full Moshava experience in the future. The Moshava Mini-Mosh will still feature all of the unique activities, programs and the special Religious, Zionist atmosphere that makes Moshava unique.
