On Yom Safa Ha’Ivrit, the chanichim learned about Rishon Le’Tzion, the first place where the Israeli flag was raised, the home to the first modern Hebrew school and the first place that Hatikva was sung. They also learned about the challenge and success of finding water in Rishon Le’tzion and how they were then able to grow oranges there.
The chanichim celebrated Rishon Le’tzion by building orange towers, learned about Eliezer Ben Yehuda by playing basketball with giant inflatable hoops, dividing old and new Hebrew words, and celebrated the successful search for water with a dunk tank!
Moshava will be continuing its very successful Kaytana program which will NOW BE A FULL 2 WEEKS and is for campers who will be completing Grades 3 or 4. Our Kaytana program is specially designed as an introductory overnight camp program for children of these ages. Children will become comfortable in the camp environment while learning to deal with the separation issues and the issues of living in a group situation. They will, therefore, be more prepared for the full Moshava experience in the future.
The main camp consists of five Eidot (divisions). 
Our Mini-Mosh program is specially designed as an introductory 4 day, 3-night program for campers who will be completing 2nd or 3rd grades in June 2024. Children will become comfortable in the camp environment while learning to deal with the separation issues and the issues of living in a group situation. They will then be more prepared for the full Moshava experience in the future. The Moshava Mini-Mosh will still feature all of the unique activities, programs and the special Religious, Zionist atmosphere that makes Moshava unique.
