Today the chanichim learned about Rishon Letzion. They learned about how it was founded by ten olim, how important it was when they found water, and how Rishon Letzion was the city of firsts, first place to raise what is known today as the Israeli flag, first place to sing Hatikva and home to the first Hebrew school. They also learned how they planted orange groves.
Eidah Hey visited our peula. They competed to make orange towers and hung the Israeli flag from the top, the learned old and modern Hebrew and they celebrated Rishon Letzion finding water with a dunk tank!
Moshava will be continuing its very successful Kaytana program which will NOW BE A FULL 2 WEEKS and is for campers who will be completing Grades 3 or 4. Our Kaytana program is specially designed as an introductory overnight camp program for children of these ages. Children will become comfortable in the camp environment while learning to deal with the separation issues and the issues of living in a group situation. They will, therefore, be more prepared for the full Moshava experience in the future.
The main camp consists of five Eidot (divisions). 
Our Mini-Mosh program is specially designed as an introductory 4 day, 3-night program for campers who will be completing 2nd or 3rd grades in June 2024. Children will become comfortable in the camp environment while learning to deal with the separation issues and the issues of living in a group situation. They will then be more prepared for the full Moshava experience in the future. The Moshava Mini-Mosh will still feature all of the unique activities, programs and the special Religious, Zionist atmosphere that makes Moshava unique.
