On Yom Ha’Aliyot, we are celebrating the stories of the families who made aliyah and made an impact on Israeli industry. Today, Eidah Gimmel visited our Strauss-Elite factory. The chanichim heard about the inspiring story of Eliyahu Franchenko, the founder of Elite Chocolate. He made aliyah from Russia in 1933 and built a successful empire selling chocolate and coffee, Elite products are enjoyed all over the world. The chanichim honored his story by making hot chocolate bombs. They also heard about the Strauss family story and made ice cream. Moshava will be continuing its very successful Kaytana program which will NOW BE A FULL 2 WEEKS and is for campers who will be completing Grades 3 or 4. Our Kaytana program is specially designed as an introductory overnight camp program for children of these ages. Children will become comfortable in the camp environment while learning to deal with the separation issues and the issues of living in a group situation. They will, therefore, be more prepared for the full Moshava experience in the future.
The main camp consists of five Eidot (divisions). 
Our Mini-Mosh program is specially designed as an introductory 4 day, 3-night program for campers who will be completing 2nd or 3rd grades in June 2024. Children will become comfortable in the camp environment while learning to deal with the separation issues and the issues of living in a group situation. They will then be more prepared for the full Moshava experience in the future. The Moshava Mini-Mosh will still feature all of the unique activities, programs and the special Religious, Zionist atmosphere that makes Moshava unique.
