Today, Eidah Daled visited the Strauss-Elite factory. Along with hearing the story of Eliyahu Franchenko, the founder of Elite, they also heard about the story of Hilda and Richard Strauss. The founders of the Strauss Dairy empire. The Strauss family made aliyah from Germany in 1936. They started their dairy farm with 2 cows, selling milk door to door. Eventually they successfully developed into a world- renowned dairy and ice cream company. They merged with the Elite chocolate business. To honor their story, the chanichim made chocolate bombs and ice cream in a bag.
Moshava will be continuing its very successful Kaytana program which will NOW BE A FULL 2 WEEKS and is for campers who will be completing Grades 3 or 4. Our Kaytana program is specially designed as an introductory overnight camp program for children of these ages. Children will become comfortable in the camp environment while learning to deal with the separation issues and the issues of living in a group situation. They will, therefore, be more prepared for the full Moshava experience in the future.
The main camp consists of five Eidot (divisions). 
Our Mini-Mosh program is specially designed as an introductory 4 day, 3-night program for campers who will be completing 2nd or 3rd grades in June 2024. Children will become comfortable in the camp environment while learning to deal with the separation issues and the issues of living in a group situation. They will then be more prepared for the full Moshava experience in the future. The Moshava Mini-Mosh will still feature all of the unique activities, programs and the special Religious, Zionist atmosphere that makes Moshava unique.
